Glenn, Look at my Siggy and tell me if Ive seen Trigun. xD And yeah ill agree with you there. Only Trigun has its dramatic and serious moments in the later episodes.

And yeah, actually I'll agree with you there. Trigun does lose it sense of comedy toward the end. I'll definitely have a look at the one you mentioned though

I believe Trigun Maximum has been manga only. I do not know if the anime has been made or released. =(

The one downside to the original Trigun Anime in comparison to its Manga is that....Theres sooooo many differences. I tried to read the Manga after I actually watched the Anime and I just couldnt.
It would have turned into one of those critical moments where you start to bitch in your own head about stuff that they shouldn't have left out of the anime etc etc.
I made the mistake of reading the Lord of the Rings Trilogy after I watched the movies and I was like "Nuuuuuu -.-"

I feel your pain with anime and manga not matching Ryan. Full metal alchemist was nothing like the manga. Good thing they made brotherhood to go alongside the manga
I actually haven't read the lotr books, maybe I should look into that too o.o

Tengen Toppa: Gurren Lagann, Hell Girl, and Rozen Maiden are all quite enjoyable.
In addition:
Soukyuu no Fafner is one of the best mecha anime series that I have ever seen. I, personally, enjoy it more than I do Evangelion.

i only watch most mech animes cuz i am waiting/searching for more episodes for the anime i need to catch up on however i like when others give anime suggestions it broadens the viewer's spectum of anime ^/.\^ and incase anyone is wondering ... that list of mine ... its incomleat ... ive only kept track of those i can remember most ild have to find&rewatch to remember ... only the best of the best stick in my head

That's specifically why I have a word document specifically for manga. In it I have written all the manga I enjoy: the ones that I am currently reading and the ones that have ended. One day I decided to start the list and... I don't regret it.
